CardVault by Tom Brady | Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 27, 2026

1. General Terms

CardVault by Tom Brady (“CardVault,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a retailer of sports cards, trading card games (TCG), collectibles, memorabilia, and related merchandise.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, whether made online, in-store, or via point-of-sale, and cover sealed products, individual cards, graded cards, memorabilia, accessories, and any other merchandise sold by CardVault.

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. All Sales Final; Limited Exceptions

Due to the volatile and speculative nature of the collectibles market, all sales are final by default.

Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not permitted based on:

  • Market value changes
  • Pull results or odds outcomes
  • Player performance
  • Grading outcomes
  • Personal preference or buyer’s remorse

Limited exceptions may be made at CardVault’s sole discretion in the event of:

  • An incorrect item shipped by CardVault
  • Transit damage verified by the carrier
  • A material error in product description attributable to CardVault

Any exception request must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery confirmation and must include supporting documentation. CardVault reserves the right to deny any request that does not meet these criteria.

3. Sealed Products, Manufacturer Defects & Acceptance

CardVault is a retailer and not the manufacturer of sealed trading card products.

Sealed products are sold as-is. Manufacturing defects, including but not limited to printing defects, centering issues, surface defects, missing hits, or damage within sealed packaging, are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.

Once a sealed product has been opened, it is deemed accepted by the customer.

Customers must submit defect claims directly to the manufacturer. CardVault does not guarantee claim outcomes and is not responsible for manufacturer determinations.

Helpful manufacturer resources include:

4. Odds, Guaranteed Hits & No Expected Value

All odds, guaranteed hits, inserts, and pack configurations are determined solely by the manufacturer.

Products advertised as “on average,” “per case,” or similar language do not guarantee specific results in any individual box or purchase.

Purchasing sealed trading card products involves inherent risk. CardVault does not guarantee:

  • Card value
  • Player selection
  • Pull quality
  • Grading outcomes
  • Financial return or expected value

A product that does not contain a high-value card or desired hit is not considered defective if manufacturer-stated odds were accurately disclosed.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

All shipments from CardVault include tracking and delivery confirmation.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

CardVault is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Packages marked as delivered but lost or stolen thereafter
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer

Claims for missing or damaged shipments must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery confirmation and must include supporting documentation.

Successful carrier delivery confirmation constitutes proof of receipt for payment disputes and chargeback resolution purposes.

6. Signature Confirmation & High-Value Orders

CardVault requires signature confirmation at delivery for orders over $500 or more. The customer is responsible for charges associated with delivery verification services.

Failure or refusal to accept a shipment requiring signature does not constitute non-delivery and does not qualify for a refund or chargeback.

7. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

CardVault actively monitors transactions to prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of payment systems.

Customers agree to contact CardVault prior to initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, allowing us the opportunity to investigate and resolve concerns.

Chargebacks submitted without prior contact, or in cases where the product was delivered as described, may be treated as potential abuse.

CardVault reserves the right to:

  • Restrict or terminate customer accounts
  • Refuse future service or transactions
  • Cancel pending orders
  • Share transaction data and dispute evidence with payment processors, card networks, and fraud prevention partners

Evidence retained for dispute resolution may include:

  • Order and transaction records
  • IP address and device data
  • Billing and shipping confirmation
  • Carrier delivery confirmation
  • Customer communication history
  • Point-of-sale records and in-store footage (where applicable)

Excessive dispute or chargeback activity may result in permanent account suspension.
