DISCLAIMERS

  • All grading turnaround times are estimates made at the discretion of the grading company. Some orders may exceed original ETAs.

  • Turnaround times begin when the grading company receives the submission from CardVault — not when the customer drops off their submission to CardVault.

  • Shipping costs will be added to each order to cover shipping to the respective grading company and back.

  • Upcharges from the grading company may apply. Upcharges occur when a card is submitted at a lesser value than it is worth and requires additional insurance while in transit back from the grading company.

FAQS

How long does it take to grade a card?

All turnaround times are estimates made by the grading companies. Turnaround times begin when the grading company receives the submission from CardVault — not when the customer drops their submission off to CardVault. This takes into account time for shipping, sorting, repacking, and bulk submission. Some orders may exceed original estimates.

How do I submit my cards to be graded via CardVault?

Bring your cards to any CardVault by Tom Brady retail location. Cards must be submitted in penny sleeves and card savers. Thicker cards can be submitted in top loaders or MAGs.

Complete a submission form including basic contact information and a list of your submissions (note S/P, parallels, #s and auto).

A CardVault store associate and the customer must take front and back photos of the submission with the submission form included in the photo.

*Do not submit air tags or Original Letters of Authentication. If COA is needed, please provide a copy in case the grading company does not return.

How much do grading submissions cost?

Please refer to the price lists above for each company's respective rates.

*Customers are responsible for the shipping cost, which is subject to change by location. Customers are also responsible for any upcharges distributed by the grading company.

Does CardVault clean cards?

No. CardVault does not clean, wipe, or touch cards to be graded. They are sent out exactly as they are provided.

How do I retrieve my cards after grading is complete?

Your graded cards will be returned to the same CardVault location where they were initially submitted.

If needed, you are able to retrieve your cards from a different CardVault location than your initial submission (for example, you can drop them off at American Dream but retrieve them from East Hampton). However, we ask that you inform the store associate at submission or send an email to Grading@CardVaultByTomBrady.com requesting your return location to be changed.

*CardVault will not ship your cards directly to your home.

Why did I receive an upcharge on my grading order?

Upcharges occur when a card or cards are submitted at a lesser value than they are worth and require additional insurance while in transit back from the grading company.
