On Saturday, August 8, 2026, we celebrated the grand reopening of our original Boston store at 112 Causeway St., inside TD Garden, following a month-long restoration. The reopening ran from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, included a no-tax promotion on all purchases, and brought out a star-studded lineup of Boston sports figures to meet collectors, including former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins, Red Sox outfielder Wilyer Abreu, Red Sox Hall of Famer Wade Boggs, and Bruins Hall of Famer Ray Bourque. It was a milestone day for our flagship location as we continue to grow under Tom Brady's ownership.
What happened at our Boston reopening?
We temporarily closed our original Boston store in July 2026 for a full renovation. The grand reopening took place Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, and included a no-tax promotion across the store for the day. Athletes made appearances throughout the day, giving collectors the chance to meet them while shopping our newly restored space at TD Garden.
Who joined us for the reopening?
Our reopening featured appearances by Kendrick Perkins, the former Celtics center and current ESPN analyst; Wilyer Abreu, Red Sox outfielder; Wade Boggs, Hall of Fame third baseman and five-time World Series champion; and Ray Bourque, Bruins Hall of Famer and Stanley Cup champion. NBC Sports Boston covered the event, calling it a "star-studded lineup" at our newly restored store.
Why does our Boston store matter to us?
Boston is one of our original locations, alongside Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Mashantucket, Connecticut. It predates Tom Brady's involvement with CardVault and has long served as a hub for our New England collector community. Investing in a full restoration of this flagship store reflects our commitment to our founding markets even as we expand into new cities across the country.
Who are we?
CardVault by Tom Brady is where collectors come to buy, sell, trade, and grade sports cards, TCG, and memorabilia. In-store, we offer certified grading through official partnerships with PSA, Beckett, SGC, and CGC, so collectors can authenticate and protect the cards they care about most. What started as a single store has grown into one of the fastest-expanding retail concepts in the collectibles industry, with new locations opening in major cities near iconic venues across the country — and CardVault Kiosks popping up along the way so collectors can rip a pack on the go, wherever they travel. That growth was recognized in 2025, when CardVault was named a 2025 Inc. 5000 honoree. But at our core, we're still hobbyists first. Our founders live and breathe this hobby, and that same passion for collecting is what shows up in every store we open.
What's next for us?
We're continuing to expand our footprint nationally, opening new locations in additional markets while investing in our founding stores. Our Boston reopening is an early signal of how we plan to grow in both new and existing markets going forward.
